Safety training in use of power tool guarantees the safety of employees

The training is the first step in safety tool. The initial training consists of two components one and two general awareness training, operational training. Formation of general awareness is can be in the form of reading the information included with the instrument. Operational training may be done by taking a class on using the tool and safety factors to be addressed, this class should include information and operational (hands-on) training, pre-operative procedures, the procedures for basic maintenance, and what appropriate personal protective equipment is required.

Before using an instrument:

Locate and make necessary and appropriate personal protective equipment.

Check for loose clothing and jewelry if you can trap and remove with the use of the instrument.

Look at the work area and make sure it is well lit, clean and dry before starting the work.

Tools must be inspected before use to ensure it is in good. If there are defects, not to use and make the necessary repairs. Next check the guards, if applicable. Tools with guards must meet the following minimum general requirements:

Be safe - removable protections are in place on the machine or equipment prior to use.

Avoid contact - Guards prevent any body part of all employees and clothing in contact with dangerous moving parts.

Protect from falling objects - Guards ensure that no objects can fall into moving parts.

If a guard is defective or damaged, the instrument is defective and must be repaired. Do not defeat these guards.

For the operation of the instrument:

Always use the right tool for the right job.

Never remove the guard for any reason, and operational tools.

Electric cables and cords must be kept clean and free of folds.

Never carry the tool by the cord.

All required personal protective equipment is worn during use of the instrument.

If you are distracted while using the tool, stop working with the instrument.

Once done with a tool, basic maintenance should be performed, for example, the tool should be kept sharp, oiled and stored correctly, as appropriate.

By following these guidelines, in collaboration with power tools is kept secure and instruments will have even longer .......
