The Relationship Between Acne and Diet

Acne, as you can see, affects more than ninety percent of the global population at some point in their lives. Disease is the most common skin treated by dermatologists and many of its victims are teenagers and adults. According to some research techniques, acne is caused by several factors such as hormones, bacteria and genetic factors. Some even claim it is caused by a poor diet with what many do not agree. Well, the subject of acne and diet has been studied for several years. While some dermatologists say that diet has nothing to do with the appearance of acne, many argue that diet has a match. Acne and diet are somehow related, since it plays an important role in the maturation of the same. Here is a common interpretation that show how acne and diet are connected. Some studies found that eating pure carbohydrate and sugar leads to an increase of insulin as well as an increase in insulin GFI type-I. If this happens, it can lead to an excess of male hormone-androgens, which are considered the most potent in causing acne.

The connection between acne and diet maintains that if there is an excess of male hormones, the skin pores emit sebum or oil, a fatty substance that usually carries the acne-causing bacteria. In addition, this process triggers the GFI-1, which creates epithelial cells known as keratinocytes to duplicate and multiply, which in turn is a material process for the formation of acne. Furthermore, the relationship between acne and diet is demonstrated by the impact of certain studies conducted on cases of acne in Papua New Guinea islanders and hunter-gatherers of Paraguay. According to this study on the connection between acne and diet, acne is triggered by environmental factors of which diet is one. Many groups have discovered through this study that limit the grain is an important step to optimize your health, leading researchers to believe that a diet without grains is good for acne. Today, the relationship between acne and diet is one of the most controversial in the medical field. Many claim that there is little research on this issue because they simply do not perform financially.

Some even claim that doctors and dermatologists say only that there is no relationship between diet and acne because you can sell a healthy diet. Now if you think about it, basically, acne as other diseases are caused by diet, but you can not heal by focusing only on the diet as there are other aggravating behind it.
